Enviro-Mark®NZ - Bronze
Compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
To achieve a Bronze-level certification each organisation is third-party audited annually against compliance to the most commonly applicable environmental, health and safety legislation of New Zealand. There are 12 pieces of legislation at Bronze, which include:
- Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 (and Prescribed Matters Regulations 1993)
- First Aid Equipment, Facilities and Training to meet HSE Act and Regulations Requirements
- Health and Safety in Employment Regulations 1995
- Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2001
- Building Act 2004
- Fire Service Act 1975/Fire Safety and Evacuation of Buildings Regulations 1992
- Smoke-free Environments Act 1990
- Resource Management Act 1991
- Biosecurity Act 1993
- Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 and related legislation
